The Village of Cleves is located in the “Heart of the Three Rivers Valley.” Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy our proximity to the Whitewater River for fishing, canoeing -kayaking, and bird watching. Miami West Park is operated and maintained by the Miami Township Trustees and is located ½ mile from the heart of our downtown. Residents and visitors enjoy the walking/bike trails, tennis and paddle ball courts, softball, baseball, and soccer fields for free. Netted batting cages are available for the young and old to improve their batting eyes. Residents love to walk along the scenic Great Miami River.
The Cleves Community Park is also located just across US 50. Residents and visitors can purchase an annual pass for $6.00. Daily admission is just $3.00. There are three baseball fields, picnic shelters, a BMX track, walking/bicycle trails, and tennis and paddle ball courts. The park hosts multiple soccer fields, leagues, and tournaments throughout the summer and fall. A brand-new children’s playground was installed last year.

Those who love history will not be disappointed. On the west end of the Village is the site of an American Revolutionary War prisoner-of-war camp from the Battle of Loughry Creek that the British operated. Visitors will find the Harrison Symmes Memorial Museum in the heart of the Village. Enjoy the history of the Northwest Territory by viewing historical documents of the era, original artwork, and memorabilia from the presidential campaigns of President William Henry Harrison and President Benjamin Harrison.

History buffs from every state and many countries have visited the museum. Less than 1 mile from the heart of our Village are the William Henry Harrison Memorial Tomb and the Congress Green Cemetery. Volunteers from the Harrison Symmes Memorial are available for guided tours by appointment. You will learn about the Harrison and Symmes families and their contributions to the area and our country. The monument and the Congress Green cemetery have scenic views of the Ohio River.
Those who enjoy boating on the river will find that available, too. There are marinas and launch sites close by where residents enjoy their summer days fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, or simply taking their boats to on-the-river restaurants like the Cabana (10 minutes from the Village of Cleves) or in close by Lawrenceburg.

If you enjoy professional sports, the Village of Cleves is an excellent place to live. Residents and visitors enjoy watching the Cincinnati Reds play at Great American Ballpark and the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium. Both stadiums are just 20-25 minutes from the heart of Cleves, Ohio. For soccer fans, FC Cincinnati plays its MLS games at TQL Stadium is within 30 minutes.
The Village of Cleves offers a beautiful blend of historic village residences and suburban subdivisions, including Westgate, Coleman Woods, and Aston View. Residents can enjoy a homecooked meal at Nick’s American Café or visit our new Skyline Chili and Roy Rogers across from The Three Rivers Local School District’s educational campus.

The Three Rivers Local School District’s three schools, Taylor High School, Taylor Middle School, and Three Rivers Elementary, are all located in the Village of Cleves. Still, the district serves families throughout Miami Township, the Village of North Bend, and the Village of Addyston. Together, we are all Miami Township residents and are proud that our school district is one of the highest-rated schools in Ohio and received 4 out of 5 stars on the Ohio School District Report Card.
